General informations


DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking take place mainly in Valsassina, in the Orobic Alps, near Lake Como, and they cross the provinces of Lecco, Bergamo and Sondrio. They have as their starting point the municipalities of Valsassina and Val Varrone.
The starting point, the itinerary and all the information relating to the trekking are indicated on the page dedicated to each photo trekking.


You can get to Valsassina in different ways:
- by car from Milan following the signs for Lecco (SS36) and taking the "Valsassina" exit;
- by regional train from Milan and nearby cities to Lecco (you can buy your ticket at the station or on the Trenord website) and then from Lecco station by taking the bus Line D35 for Valsassina;
- on foot following one of the many paths that connect it to the nearby valleys!


DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking can last one or more days.
In the case of trekking lasting several days, dinner, overnight stay and breakfast in the mountain hut are provided.

DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking wind along tracks, paths, mule tracks, forest roads and can be classified as "Excursions" (E) in the scale of hiking difficulties of the Italian Alpine Club (C.A.I.).
The greater or lesser degree of commitment required for each photographic trek depends mainly on:
- your hiking preparation and the weight of your backpack;
- the total distance and the type of route;
- the quality of the bottom of the trails;
- the morphology of the environment and the total height difference;
- the altitude.

Generally yes.
You can have the most suggestive and surprising photographs only when you are present at the exact moment in which the energy of nature is revealed in its elements.
Sun, wind, clouds, rain, snow are the companions that make you feel part of the life that surrounds you and allow you to express it in your photos.

However, if the weather conditions are very prohibitive and can endanger the safety of the participants, Delphicaphoto can decide to change or cancel the photo trekking.
You will be notified of any changes or cancellations and you will be able to be registered in a new list for a subsequent photo trekking.

It is necessary that you have already acquired a certain knowledge of the basics of photography and a good command of the functions of your camera.
This will help you understand what will be explained during the trekking and learn, in less time and more effectively, the suggestions that help you to enhance your shots.
Furthermore, "Open Day" photo trekking are periodically organized, reserved for beginners.

Yes.
DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking want to be a pleasant and engaging educational experience for each participant.
In order to allow everyone to receive individually all my attention and expertise, to photograph in the best light conditions, to safeguard safety and organize overnight stays in mountain hut, it is necessary that the participants are limited in number.
This way I can be sure that each participant will benefit the most from the information received during the photo trekking.
Depending on the type of photo trekking, the maximum number varies from five to seven participants and is indicated on the page dedicated to each photo trekking.


During the DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking, a packed lunch is generally provided.
So please take the food you need with you including a supply of food just in case!
During the multi-day photo trekking we will have dinner and breakfast in the mountain hut.


Generally the mountain huts are equipped to meet your needs! If you participate in photo trekking that include dinner and breakfast in the mountain hut, and for health reasons you must follow a particular diet or suffer from allergies or intolerances to certain foods, you can notify Delphicaphoto at the time of registration or in any case promptly.
In this way it will be possible to warn the managers of the mountain hut and allow them to organize themselves as best as possible to meet your needs.
In case it is not possible to guarantee the satisfaction of your specific dietary needs in advance, do not worry: you will be notified and you can take the food you need with you!

While loving dogs and other pets, they are not allowed on DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking.




Equipment

If you can rent the equipment from a retailer, great!
Otherwise, remember that you can always take part in photographic treks even just to become familiar with the world of landscape photography and have a naturalistic experience!


Delphicaphoto photo trekking take place in a mountain environment and it is important that you have appropriate clothing for different weather conditions and needs physical, and also a suitable equipment to better face every situation.

Registrations and bookings


To register to the DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking, just click on the subscription button that you find on the page dedicated to individual photo trekking and fill out the form accepting the Regulation for participation in the photo trekking of DELPHICAPHOTO and the Privacy Policy.
You will receive an email to confirm your registration request and you will be able to access the booking page to choose the date of the photo trekking.

▷ To participate in the DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekkings, some of your personal data are collected, necessary for the performance of the treks themselves:

- name;
- surname;
- email;
- telephone number.

▷ To take out the insurance policy valid during the photo trekking, the following data are also required:

- tax code;
- State.

▷ You can optionally communicate any allergies, food intolerances and/or health problems that may arise during the photo trekking, putting your health at risk and compromising the photo trekking performance.
These data are collected and processed only if you have given your free and unequivocal consent.

▷ In order to issue the invoice, the following data is required:

- name;
- surname;
- tax code/VAT number;
- business name;
- residence/domicile address.


If you realize that you have booked the wrong photo trekking, you can send me a simple cancellation request by filling out the contact form where you will indicate your details and the wrong photo trekking and I will cancel your registration.

You can register at any time for the photo trekking you want to participate in, by filling out the registration form again and choosing the date you prefer among those available.

I advise you not to wait too long to register to avoid not finding more free places.


The places available for each date of the photographic treks are limited and fill up quickly.
If you want to be notified if a place becomes available you can write to me by filling incontact form, specifying which photographic trek you are interested in and on which date.

Discounts


Yes!
If you are a member of the Italian Alpine Club, the DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking lasting several days which include dinner, overnight stay, breakfast in a mountain hut agreement with C.A.I., have a reduced cost that already includes the discount to the extent established by the tariff of the C.A.I. in force.




Insurance and payments


Yes!
When you participate in the DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking you are covered by a nominative insurance policy that protects you from accidents and injuries that may occur during the trekking.
This insurance includes search, rescue and rescue even by helicopter, in addition to civil liability coverage for any physical and material damage that you can cause to third parties.
Insurance is stipulated for each photo trekking and is mandatory even if you already own one.
The insurance fee is included in the price of the photo trekking and is valid for the entire duration of the treking.

For DELPHICAPHOTO photo trekking you can choose the payment method you prefer, even in cash.
I accept POS electronic payments made with debit or credit cards featuring the Visa, Visa Electron, V Pay, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, Union Pay, JCB as well as NFC payments via Google Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

You can pay directly on the day of the photo trekking.
